Wins Division, Advances to the Playoffs

       The Rancho Solano Men’s Club Match Play Team wrapped up its regular season on Saturday at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course with a hard-fought 18-18 tie. It was a competitive match with some outstanding golf played by both teams.
The tie finishes an impressive regular season for Rancho Solano with a record of 4 wins, 1 tie, and 1 loss, earning the team the division championship and a berth in the NCGA playoffs.
A special congratulations goes to Joe Griego, who fired the low round of the day for Rancho Solano with an outstanding 2-over-par 74. Great playing, Joe!
       We’d also like to recognize the outstanding play and leadership throughout the season from Jason Blunt, Ken Cess, Sam Thomas, Harry Ahlstrom, and the entire Match Play Team for representing Rancho Solano with class and determination.
       A special thank you goes to Sam Thomas and Harry Ahlstrom for all of their hard work behind the scenes. From scheduling every match and coordinating the logistics to making sure everyone was where they needed to be, their leadership and dedication were instrumental in another successful Match Play season.
Finally, thank you to every member who represented Rancho Solano this year. Your commitment, sportsmanship, and team-first attitude made this another outstanding season, and we’re excited to see what this group can accomplish in the playoffs.
        We also look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, August 8, for our Individual Blind Poker Draw Tournament. It promises to be a great day of golf with the added excitement of the blind poker draw following play.

The Rancho Solano Men’s Club Four-Man 1-2-3 tournament on May 4th brought a little breeze, but overall a very competitive and

enjoyable day of golf at  Rancho Solano. Great competition and another fun event for the club.

Every tournament has it's traditions…Friday is pin placement day...Strategic tee positions...Endless course setup discussions.

Congratulations to the Rancho Solano Men’s Club NCGA Zone Qualifiers! The team delivered an outstanding performance,

finishing 2nd place on April 14th with a total score of 258, highlighted by strong final round of 131.

The Rancho Solano Men’s Club Gold Rush Individual Stableford Tournament on April 4th was a great day of golf. Players enjoyed

strong competition, great weather, and plenty of memorable moments throughout the round. Thank you to everyone who

participated—we look forward to seeing you at the next event.
